Manual install, no store
Download the ZIP, unzip it, then load the unpacked folder from Chrome’s extensions page.

Load the extension
Open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the folder containing manifest.json.
Pin and refresh
Pin the ZPrivacyGuard icon in your browser toolbar, then refresh open tabs to apply hiding.

FAQ
Before you start
Is it installed from the Chrome Web Store?
No. Install from the ZIP: unzip it, then use Load unpacked at chrome://extensions with Developer mode enabled.
Do my data leave the device? Which permissions are used?
Processing is local through chrome.storage.local, with no network access except reading the extension’s locale files. It uses storage, activeTab, and content scripts on all URLs.
Does it cover everything?
No. It is visual protection with no comprehensive guarantee: no VPN, encryption, protection from the site, or tracking prevention. It does not cover browser UI, images, or canvas, and regex detectors can miss data. Recording mode tries to prevent autofill, but the browser may ignore it.
Which languages are available?
Inside the Chrome extension: Arabic, English, and Spanish. French is available for the website only.
